Search Optimization
People still search on Google. They also ask ChatGPT and Gemini, and they read the AI summary sitting at the top of the results page before they scroll to anything else. All of it is built from the same signals, so the work that earns you a ranking is increasingly the work that earns you a mention.
What's included
- Google Business Profile built out in full: categories, services, hours, service area
- Your site structured so search engines and AI assistants can read what you do and where you do it
- Service and location pages that answer the questions people actually type, not just the keywords
- Photos, posts, and reviews kept current, because stale listings rank worse
- Name, address, and phone made consistent everywhere they appear online
- Reporting on where you rank, on the map and in ordinary results
Getting named in AI answers
AI assistants do not crawl the web fresh for every question. They lean on what is already well established about you: a consistent name and address, a site that states plainly what you do and who you serve, and other sources that agree with both. There is no trick to it, which is the good news. The businesses being named in those answers are mostly the ones that were already easy to verify.
Why it matters
The map pack and the AI summary both sit above the ordinary results, and both get read before most people scroll. For a local business this remains the highest-return work available, and the cheapest to keep up once it is set up properly.
